          SUNS Strom Series Electromechanical Universal Testing Machine is capable of conducting mechanical tests such as tension, compression, bending, shearing, peeling, and tearing on a wide range of materials, including both metals and non-metals. These machines are widely utilized in fields such as aerospace, nuclear energy, defense, and higher education institutions. The Storm series provides an enhanced choice for users in R&D community.

Common Specifications: Position Measurement Accuracy: ±0.02 mm or 0.05% of displacement (whichever is greater). Crosshead Speed Accuracy (Zero or constant load): ±0.1% of set speed. Load Measurement Accuracy: ±0.5% of reading down to 0.4/100 of load cell capacity; Strain Measurement Accuracy: ±0.5% of reading down to 1/50 of full range with ASTM E83 class B or ISO 9513 class 0.5 extensometer. Operating Temperature: -10 °C to +38 °C (+14 °F to +100 °F); Storage Temperature: -40 °C to +66 °C (-40 °F to +150 °F); Humidity Range: +10% to +90%, non[1]condensing. Atmosphere: Designed for use under normal laboratory conditions. Protective measures may be required if excessive dust, corrosive fumes, electromagnetic Þeld or hazardous conditions are encountered.

 Notes:

1. All systems force measurement meets or surpasses the following standards: ASTM E 4, BS 1610, DIN 51221, ISO 7500-1, EN10002-2 . SUNS recommends the systems are veriÞed on site at the time of installation as required by ASTM E 4 and ISO 7500-1 standards.

 2. Strain measurement system meets or surpasses the following standards: ASTM E 83, BS 3846, ISO 9513, EN 10002-4.
